Getting started is easy with these simple steps:

  1. Decide what package you would like to order.  We have three packages available based on how many pictures, video clips, songs, etc. you would like to include in your slide show. See our Packages page to decide what package best fits your request.

  2. Select your photos and video clips and put them in the order you would like them seen in the slideshow. You can stick a Post-It note on the back of your photos or carefully write on the back of the photos with a pencil.  If you are sending your photos and video clips as files on disk, please change the filenames to numbers, in the order you would like them seen.  If you have video clips on tape or DVD, please let us know what specific scenes you would like to see in the slideshow and also number these in the order you would like them seen.

  3. Choose the background music and decide in what order would like your music choices to be played. You can either send  us the music on your original CD,  or we can purchase music from iTunes for about $1.00 per song. We recommend the second option if you are worried about your valuable music CDs getting lost in the mail.  Please let us know what pictures you would like to add narration or voice messages to (read "things to keep in mind" bellow).  

  4.   Decide what captions you might like in your slideshow,  including the title and any closing message or credits.  Let us know on which photos (by number labeled) you would like to display a caption.

  5.   Package your photos, music CDs, videos, and signed order form carefully and securely.  Please include your order form with name, address, phone number, email address and any special instructions.  It is recommended that you only send copies of your photos and video clips in the event that your media gets lost in the mail (read "things to keep in mind" bellow). Photo Memories In Motion  is not responsible for items lost or damaged through the mail.  

  6. Submit the our online order form and we will contact you to discuss your order and or any questions you might have.  You can then mail your payment with your package using a cashier's check or money order (sorry  no personal checks are accepted) or you can use our preferred method of payment, PayPal.  When your package is received, we will contact you again to review your slideshow with you. You will then be sent an invoice to the internet address provided. Payment must  be made before slideshow production begins.

Things To Keep In Mind:

1. Custom titles and credits are included in every slideshow package. You can also add narration/voice recordings ( may describe what's going on in a photo or who the person/people are in a photo).  This can be done with the sound recorder in Accessories, if you have Windows.  

2. If you don't have the negatives and need to make copies of your photo prints, you can do so at Wal-Mart or any photo processing center.

3. If you do not have a preferred order or placement of your photos/video clips and/ or choice of background music, you may leave this up to us.  However, if you are not satisfied with the result, we will redo your slideshow only once, according to your specifications.

4. If you choose to scan your photo prints to disk before sending them to us, please make sure that you scan your photos at 300dpi or better for images 3x5 or larger, and 600dpi or better for images smaller than 3x5. Otherwise, the quality of your slideshow can not be guaranteed.
